Web Quest: A School Trip to England

As some of you are going to England in February, I've created a Web Quest you can use to plan your trip and your activities during your stay there

Click on the following link, read the "task" page, then go to the "process" page and choose one of the six groups:

When you've finished your quest, prepare a Power Point presentation and talk about it in class.

Homework for Monday 10th November

As you maybe know, I'll be away for a whole week, from November 9th to November 16th.
You'll have your next lesson with Maria Fantin, your conversation teacher, on Monday 10th.
As homework for Monday, you have to draw a T-chart where you list the advantages and disadvantages of living in Marlberry village, the childfree village.

When you come to class, you should be able to speak about the pros and the cons of living in a childfree village for at least 2 minutes. You should be able to express your opinon as well (say why you would or wouldn't like to live there).

Your assignment for next week (10th-15th November)

During my absence from school, I'd like you to go on with the Web Quest about Kalokagathia.

You can find the web Quest in our school Web Site, www.itcgfermi.it
Click on the Comenius logo (in the left column) and then click on The Trip through Kalokagathia.
Otherwise you can go to the Web Quest by clicking on this link
http://zunal.com/webquest.php?user=18321

You have to answer all the questions, from 1 to 10 (working in pairs if you prefer to). When you have finished, you can write an article about kalokagathia and send it to my email address:
luisella.mori@gmail.com

If some students are faster and finish their job quickly, they can do the second step of our Web Quest, that is compare men's and women's life in Ancient Greece using the information you can find in this Web Site

http://www.museum.upenn.edu/greek_world/Index.html

On top of the page you can click on "Daily Life" and find out more about daily life in Ancient Greece.

Thank you and have a nice week.

N.B. You should work on the Web Quest at home as well, the job must be finished by November 18th, when I'll be back at school.
